MAJOR ALBERT BROOKER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a UConn freshman or sophomore on the basis of financial need and academic achievement. Amount varies.

FRED DANIELS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
One award is made annually to a UConn Torrington freshman or sophomore who is working toward a degree in social work and has at least a B average. Amount varies.

FEBBRORIELLO, CONTI, AND LEVY SCHOLARSHIP
One award of $250 is made annually, on the basis of financial need and academic achievement, to a UConn Torrington freshman or sophomore who is interested in a legal career.

ADELINA FRIGO STUDENT ESSAY AWARD
$100 is awarded at the May B.G.S. Graduation Reception to the UConn Torrington student whose paper in a mental health related discipline was considered to be the best such paper submitted in a class at the Campus during the academic year.

STEPHANO FRIGO MENTAL HEALTH GRANT
One award of $600 is made annually, on the basis of financial need and scholastic achievement, to a UConn Torrington student who is studying in a mental health related field.

GLEN KILNER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Awards of $1000 each are made annually to UConn Torrington freshmen on the basis of financial need. Number of awards varies.

FRANK LAGROTTA SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a UConn Torrington sophomore on the basis of service and academic achievement. Amount varies.

MUFF MASKOVSKY SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded annually by the Northwest Hills Chapter of the UConn Alumni Association to full-time UConn Torrington students on the basis of financial need and scholarship. Amounts vary.

NEW HARTFORD GARDEN CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded annually to a UConn Torrington sophomore who demonstrates financial need and is pursuing an undergraduate degree in a discipline related to Horticulture, Botany, or Natural Resources and Conservation.

TORRINGTON LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS
One award of $500, based on academic achievement and financial need, is made to a UConn Torrington freshman who is a graduate of Torrington High School. The award is renewable for up to four years while the student is matriculated at UConn.

TORRINGTON SAVINGS BANK SCHOLARSHIPS
Awards of $500 each, based on academic achievement and financial need, are made to Torrington High School graduates for both their freshman and sophomore years at UConn Torrington. Number of awards varies.

VALLEY THRIFT SHOP SCHOLARSHIPS
Two awards of $500 each are made to UConn Torrington freshmen who are graduates of Regional #7, Gilbert, or Torrington High Schools on the basis of financial need and academic achievement.

DR. WINTHROP WELCH SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a UConn freshman or sophomore on the basis of financial need and academic achievement. Amount varies.

DORIS WELLNITZ BACHELOR OF GENERAL STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded annually to B.G.S. students attending the Torrington Campus of the University of Connecticut. Amounts vary.

ROSE WICKS MEMORIAL PRIZE
Awarded to a UConn Torrington sophomore on the basis of service, academic achievement, and excellence in political science. Amount varies.

WOMEN IN TRANSITION SCHOLARSHIPS
Awarded annually by the Civic Family Services Organization of Litchfield to UConn Torrington female non-traditional students who demonstrate financial need and maintain a 3.0 grade point average. Three awards of $500 each.
