 ReadyAbout is a Boston-based new media firm that develops dynamic Web sites, effective e-commerce applications, interactive animations, and complex CD-ROM-based applications. ReadyAbout supports a diverse range of clients that reflect a deep, domain-specific knowledge within the software, high-technology, professional association and museum markets.
The vendors database created for ReadyAbout is an internal Microsoft Access database created by converting a Quicken contact book to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and finally imported into Micosoft Access where the correct data tables were set up. The database was then put online on an Intranet and made searchable through keyword input on a standard web page using VBscript / ASP code.
